The Current Group

The group works in supramolecular chemistry.

Dan Preston started a DECRA fellowship at the Research School of Chemistry at the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia in 2020. He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Otago, before undertaking a Rutherford Fellowship at the University of Canterbury (NZ).

Zack Avery did his Honours at the University of Canterbury (NZ) and has recently started his PhD studies with us. He’s using complementary pairings to make complex structures.

James Phillips and Steph Jones are currently doing their Honours projects, both working on stimuli-responsive metallo-interlocked systems.

Kya Lamarra is working on an undergraduate project on complementary pairings.
